Who we are

We are the group of history buffs from Russia (Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Sergiev Posad). We are a group of living history. This is a hobby combined with a game. Our uniform and weapons are exact copies of the equipment used by the French Republican Army during the French Revolution.

Why the French Army

The French army was the best fighting machine of the Napoleonic wars. May be because the French soldier were fond of eating frogs and drinking champagne? Certainly not! The Revolution destroyed the Ancien Regime and feudal restrictions and opened the way for talents. The former soldiers - Oudinot, Murat et Bessieres became generals and many other capable men also joined the army. One unknown corsican artillery officer Bounaparte managed to raise to the rank of the victorious commander-in-chief of the Italian Army and then the Emperor of the French Republic.

Why Republican period

The First French Republic - this was the period of real victories and glory. In 1792, when the war had commenced, France was encircled by the numerous enemies, but the Army was in disastrous state. However many volunteers were going to the frontier and new army, which obtained the victories and throw the enemies out of the Patrie, was formed.
